We, the Center for User Rights of the Gesellschaft für Freiheitsrechte e.V. (GFF), cordially invite you to our second workshop and exchange on data access for researchers under Article 40 of the Digital Services Act (DSA) on September 18, 2025.

Paragraphs 4 and 12 of Article 40 of the DSA grant researchers the right to access data from very large online platforms and search engines in order to research systemic risks and the effects of these platforms. The main objective of the workshop is to provide a foundational understanding of Article 40 DSA specifically for researchers outside the EU and to help establish the groundwork for making use of Article 40 in the future.
